Adding senders name to address book:
Create new contact first by clicking on the Create Contact button.  Fill in the required fields and click Quick Submit. (Updated: 02/17/99)

Edit and delete address books entries:
In the Addresses link you have the Edit and Delete links.  If you want to change existing information of a particular person click on edit and then click save when done.

Becareful when deleting because when you click delete the person will be erased completely.  (Updated: 02/17/99)

Sending messages to mutiple people:
Notice in your address book that for every contact there is a To, Cc and Bb check box.  Every person who is checked in either fields will recieve that message.  To find out what Bb: and Cc: mean, go back to the Sending Mail section. (Updated: 02/17/99)

How do I configure my External POP Mail:
External POP Mail is found under the options link.  when you get into the External POP Mail page the information for the server address and port number can be obtained by contacting your Internet Service Provider or Network Administrator.

Expired login name:
The problem you are having appears to be caused by a difficulty setting your user cookie. 

It may be because of several reasons:

The date on your computer is set incorrectly.  If this is the case simply set the correct time and date on your computer. 

You have installed an application that monitors/blocks cookies from being sent.   Simply disable the monitoring application before logging in. 

You are behind a firewall that doesn't allow you to receive cookies.  In this case contact your System's Administrator

Your browser is not set to accept cookies.  If your browser gives you the option to accept all cookies, you should choose it.

Forgot login name:
In the sign-in page at mail.internav.com, there should be a link that says "Get help signing in here." Click there and fill out the necessary information.

How to login:
Internav email is similar to email services like Hotmail and Yahoo mail.  You can send and receive email from any computer on the internet.  There is no special software to install or configure.  All you need is a computer that is online and a web browser.  To log in to your account, go the Internav start page at http://internav.net or the mail page at http://mail.internav.com.   Then enter your email id and password in the spaces provided and click Sign In.   (Updated: 03/18/2000)

How much space you get:
You get 6 Mega Bytes worth of storage.   That's not including the Trash Folder.  Your storage at Internav mail is two or three times the amount you get with most other free email providers! (Updated: 03/18/2000)

How to Create, Rename and Delete folders:
In the Folders link there is a Create button, the Rename and Delete link. 

Click Create to make a new folder. 

Click Rename to change the folder's name.

Searching through old messages:
Under the Search link, you can search for messages that contains a certain phrase.  Just type in the phrase and tell it where to look.  (Updated: 02/17/99)

Putting messages into folders:
In your in-box you have a Select Folder drop down menu.  Click on the check box next to the message you want to move. Then select the folder you want to move it to and click the Move button (Updated: 02/17/99)

What filters are:

What Cc: and Bb: mean:
"Cc:" stands for "carbon copy." Names in this field will all receive a copy of the letter.  Names of other cc: recipients will be visible in the letter. 
"Bcc:" works the same way except all recipients in the Bcc: field will be invisible to other recipients.  It stands for blind carbon copy.

Sending a message to more than one person:
Add recipients email addresses to either the cc: or bb: field.  Everyone in those fields will receive a copy of that letter.   (Updated: 02/17/99)

Using the address book to send messages:
1. Create new contact first by clicking on the Create Contact button. Fill in the required fields and click Quick Submit.
2. Once you get back to your address book, find the name(s) of who you want to send mail to. Then click the To, Cc or Bcc box and then click compose. (Updated: 02/17/99)

Replying to messages:

How to send messages:

How to forward a message:

Getting "failed delivery":
Failed Delivery means that a message which you sent was undeliverable and has been "bounced" back to you.  Most likely there was a typo or the email address does you're sending to does not exist.  (Updated: 02/17/99)

How to Send Attachments:
While composing your mail,
click on the Browse button at the bottom of the page to find your file.  When your done, just click on the Send button like usual.
